I seem to remember another mention of it seomwhere around here, so I'm sure it applies!
As I understand it, it's mostly used in cases of a 'Wetware interface error'. The definition, of coursem is that hardware is anything you can kick, software is anything you can't, and wetware is anything that goes soggy if you kick it for too long. Ie. the creature in the chair asking the dumb questions.

Of course, with the ever popular Idiot stick is the less used, and slightly less effective Stoopid Stick.
