I caught a rerun of this series a few years back - I loved the style of them. Real class.

Fist fights, freezing and drowning- all in Saville-row suits smiley - winkeye

Having written this entry, I've realised there's a gap of class ITC series, I may well be writting more.

The sets, the costumes, even the characters had a simple elegance. Pure escapism but I loved watching them. Wit too. Like the original Avengers.

ITC?

In terms of wit, the verbal sparring between Craig and Richard was one of the highlights of the series.

Yes, Richard's pan faced sarkiness I liked.

What's ITC, KerrAvon?

Sorry, missed the question first time smiley - doh

Incorporated Television Company. Lew Grade's outfit. Was responsible for much of the classic 60s output- The Champions, Robinm Hood, The Saint, Man in a Suitcase, Randall and Hopkirk, UFO, Space: 1999, Gerry Anderson's stuff.., Name a cult classic from the time, and there's a good chance it came from them.

Memnon

Does anyone remember the opening scenes, like a little skit. I always remember the one where Sharron is driving the car and pick up the unruly hitch-hikers and in the tunnel she beat the c*** out of them.
These series used to be the staple of Sunday afternoon and used to include Man in a Suitcase, The Baron, Department S, etc.
Oh for the bygone age.

Certainly do:

"After the credits, a sequence featuring one or more of the trio would showcase one of their 'powers', accompanied by a voice-over explaining the show's premise." smiley - winkeye

I enjoyed the sequence when Richard and Craig really pissed off the body builder by playing catch with the weights.
