Hello from Memnon
Hi ya
Just joined this new forum.
Found the information for this site in a magazine listing sites on the web and thought I would give it a go.
My real name is Tony but will all ways be publishing under the name Memnon.
I am 38 years old and live in the town of Worksop which is situated in north of the county of Nottinghamshire, not far from the Derbyshire and South Yorkshire borders.
Worksop is situated in a picturesque location known as Robin Hood country and only a stones throw away from delights such as Clumber Park, Welbeck estates, Thorsby Hall and Sherwood Forest.
The area is steeped in history including the Pilgrim Fathers start journey from Scrooby.
More about me then. I am single, except for the company of a alsation dog called Storm, and I work in one of the local factories.
I first became aware of HitchHikers Guide to the Galaxy through the TV series and soon progressed onto the books and finally the Radio Series. Pity the TV series did not carry on to complete the full radio series.
My main interests are Clasical music, Theatre, Reading, Real Ales, crossword & jigsaw puzzles, Amateur Radio and finally as a committed christian the anglo-catholic faith.
Can't think of anything else for now and hope I will enjoy my time in this forum.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
