Well said! I have never performed the task in anything but a virtual environment (but thats what you get for being caught behind the bar at the F&F when someone else walks in ). I have, however, had many opportunities to study the art from the other side. I agree that there are some shining examples of willing staff out there but I do mourn the passing of certain skills of cellarmanship. These are I must admit probably due more to the corporate megolomainia aflicting the brewing industry than to individual shortcomings.

May I say that BS is the best virtual barman I know. He seem to be at every virtual party on H2G2 that I get to as well as having my favourite always set up for me.

I agree totally. Three cheers for bar staff. Especially those that pour my drinks, and for virtual ones. I'll find my way to one of the bars around here sometime...
