Mixologist, not Bartender

Post 1

Sneaky

We prefer to be called Mixologists. Also the true talent of a mixologist is the ability to mix a perfect (not Perfect for those who may mistake me) cocktail every time. A good mixologist will make a cocktail based upon balancing flavors, a bad mixologist will make a drink that is mostly alcohol. Just to put my two cents in, a true martini must use gin.

I appreciate this was all posted a while ago but to answer the question from my point of view
The best gin to use in a martini (and yes i agree it should only ever be gin!) is Tanqueray Ten!
Also awesome in a gin and tonic with lots of ice and fresh lime
mmmmmmm
