Having done my stint as a student bar-worker, can see a lot of logic in the above
BUT
there is one very important thing you didn't mention. It is not difficult to serve the person who has been there longest rather than the most gorgeous member of the opposite sex who has just pushed their way to the front of the queue. And you're much more likely to get bought that drink if you do.
