I put a paintbrush in my ear once...

...when I was fairly young, but still old enough to know better. I wasn't really aware of what I was doing until I hit something (eardrum?) which hurt like hell so I automatically removed the paintbrush straight away. Ouch.

Me too!
I was 15 and should have known better but I have never done it since! Felt like the side of my head was on fire - think I hit something too!!

I was a bit younger than 15...
Glad to know I'm not the only one, though.
I was a bit scared for a few days after that, always imagined something coming into my ear, destined to...ouch!
