Well, there is just such an animal. I had the pleasure of using one of these a few weeks ago. One of my co-workers brought in heesecake, and the only utensils we had were foons. The only major difference between the two are that the spork has a larger concave area and smaller prongs. The makers of the foon had an equal sized concave area, but then lengthened the prongs to about 1/2 inch. This made eating the cheesecake easier, while at the same time minimizing liquid scooping capability loss. LONG LIVE THE FOON!

I always did think that the foon was mightier than the spork...

Aren't foons just inverted sporks? (You know, flipped the other way?)
