why do students ,even alternative ones, need to catch a tram, they almost all live down the Wilmslow rd / oxford rd corridor so a bus is easiest, and then most of them stop nearer to your first desitnation, the Grand Central, than the trams do.
Have you been into the new look Grand Central? Is it any good?

The new look GC is almost totally unrecognisable, I mean, you don't even stick to the floor anymore. It's been a while since I've been in though, seeing as it's the Garrat/5th Ave combo that's in vogue with my friends at the minute.
