that is as far as i got before i started thinking, 'was this guy lonely as a child or what?'

How did you come to that conclusion?

Secondly, if you are actually interested in Satanic Theory, you should read the articles on the site, then buy the books (and no, they aren't expensive - I bought them all at 16).

I don't understand exactly where you are coming from, other than you want explained what is fairly obvious. You can come up with the answers yourself, surely? The piece of writing is about focused, threatened anger towards those you dislike.

The "bald bloke with a snake" is Anton LaVey.

Not a great start for someone who I presume thinks they have an open mind.

perhaps a more structured answer would to have been to have given book titles for me to look out for and maybe some links to these articles, ones you would recommend perhaps

But I am not trying to re-educate the population. Just make sure that if people want answers, they are getting it from a better and more knowledgeable source than a Christian preacher. I don't speak for the CoS, which is why I always direct people their way.

i was curious and have gone back to the site to see what i can make of it. i decided it wasn't for me. your posting is the one seeking confrontation which i am sorry to say i shall have to ignore from this point as i do have more important things to be getting on with

Why would I seek confrontation? On this matter, I've got better things to do than educate other people on a mass scale. I don't mind answering questions, but answering questions is a whole world away from giving people free education.

Hi, I know it's been like 8 years since your post but I was woundering if you could tell me anything you think a young Satanist should know. I was taught two supposed "curses" a sick curse and a death one. I havent tried either, because I want to know if they'll work or if Ill cut my arm for nothing. In my opinion I'm a generaly 'good' person, would that effect how I'm treated in Hell? Also, I always pray to Lucifer/Satan (I use both names for him) frequently, is that enough? I trash the name of the "God" of heaven, and only because he hates my master. I say master because what he tells me is law, heis my Master, my Lord, my 'Creator'.

Hi. You e-mailed me these questions, so I'm just going to re-post my responses here for anyone who wanted to see them...


My first question is did you read the article? Have you read the Satanic Bible or done any research into LaVey's ideas? I ask these questions because most of the statements you made seem to indicate "No."

To avoid confusion, I'm going to paste portions of the e-mail you sent and respond to them, ok?

- How old are you and where are you from? Have you read the Satanic Bible? Really read it...don't just skim over portions and think you've got it. Also, avoid taking other people's opinion of what Satanism is and what LaVey "meant" by this or that passage, including MINE. This is a major problem with most organized religions...people prefer to let someone else tell them how to think, accepting that person's authority and reasoning over their own.

- There are no "good" people or "bad" people. Do you mean that you are generally kind and caring to others? There is nothing wrong with that. AND, if you choose to accept the Satanic view of the world, it doesn't effect how you are treated in hell at all...because THERE IS NO HELL. NO HEAVEN, EITHER. If you believe in those things, then you are still indoctrinated into the Christian belief of control through promise of punishment/reward. This brings me to the next bit...

Trash the name of god all you want. He doesn't hate your master because "he" doesn't exist anymore than your "master" does. If you are speaking metaphorically, then that's fine. But just make sure you understand that God and Satan are IDEAS, not beings. Once again, read the S.B. if you aren't sure.

I would say the best thing to remember is that YOU are your god. YOU direct your life, to good things or bad. Decide what you really want from life, figure out what is required of you to get it, and then go achieve it, smashing anyone who tries to tell you you can't have it. This doesn't mean be an asshole. It doesn't mean make someone else's life miserable to get what you want, either. It means give respect as long as it's returned...be honest with yourself as to whether you DESERVE respect in what you're doing...and if they don't respect you, the gloves are off. They asked for it.

Study philosophy, study psychology, study religion...try to figure your SELF out. Why do you believe this or that? Why do you want this or that? Why do you lie to yourself about certain things (as we ALL do) to justify your actions? Knowing your own motivations and handicaps go a long way to giving you the tools to create a good life.

And don't feel that you have to listen to ME either. I am no guru, I don't have all the answers. If I sound reasonable, then take what you will from my advice.
