Good entry, this contest is a great way to get a few smiles. I think the idea is similar to some movies - so bad they're good, if they were any better, they'd be terrible.
I could not find my personal favorite on any of the links, so here is the 1985 "Grand Panjandrum's Special Award" by Robert D. Norris, Jr., Tulsa, Okla.:
"Sheriff Chameleotoptor sighed with an air of weary sadness, and turned to Doppelgutt and said, "The Senator must have really been on a bender this time - he left a party in Cleveland, Ohio last night at 11:30, and they found his car this morning in the smokestack of a British aircraft carrier in the Formosa Straits."

Really loved the entry Geggs.
My personal favourite is:
'"Ace, watch your head!" hissed Wanda urgently, yet somehow provocatively, through red, full, sensuous lips, but he couldn't you know, since nobody can actually watch more than part of his nose or a little cheek or lips if he really tries, but he appreciated her warning.'

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
