I hope it gets a link into the children's difficult questions collaborative entry.
typo?:tortuous (twisted)> torturous ('painfully' twisted)
also would suggest rephrasing the first sentence of the last paragraph from:
The comic has been survived from its last publication by many websites and a cult following for years.
to:
Since its last original publication the comic has survived for years on many websites, and still has a cult following.
