im afraid im going to have to dissagree with you here... if i know something.. for example what i had for lunch, not many other people will know that, but if enough people cared then i could write a book or something. and then anyone who wanted to know could read about it... what im trying to say is that not everything we know or are told is automatically a secret and thus 'unknown'. also if we know something that someone else doesnt it is not unknown to us.
"If the one or two people tell someone about the something, but the someone keeps the something a secret from the rest of the world/universe, then the something is still called 'unknown'. No matter how many people know about the something, the something is still unknown as long as it is kept a secret."
that thing that we know is no longer unknown, because we know it... nuclear power is not unknows, becuase we know that it has been invented, we can look it up if we want, we can go round nuclear power stations etc etc. just because i dont know anything about the process of it, does not make it unknown to others...
If a tree falls in a forest and noone is around to hear does it make a noise?

Or even still.. If a tree falls in the forest when I am there, but I have my eyes closed and I only hear it.. if I don't open my eyes and leave.. if someone comes back is it lieing there?
ever wonder when you were a kid, if everyone only existed when you were around... as soon as you left their presence (or they left yours) they would cease existing.. until you came into their presence again? same thing isn't it.. in a roundabout way.
If a tree falls in a forest and noone is around to hear does it make a noise?

Sort of, though I always thought in more of a "Truman Show" kind of way , like someone is constantly watching you, or that someone knows something I don't (which probably happens alot more often than I think ). By the way, you might want to check the messages at the bottom of your personal space . See you there .

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
