We seem to have an over corrupt and self centered city council. The best example of this is the WorldCom incedent. WorldCom came to them wanting to set up their central office in downtown Jackson. Needless to say a major company like that would have been a positve boon to the city, but the City Council wouldn't have it. They had to have the building constructed by such and such company or they couldn't do it here. So WorldCom decided to build in Clinton. Quite frankly I'm shocked we're actually getting the new Nissan plant.
