Thanks for writing this. Little by little, you are telling the story of the most underestimated place in the world (IMHO).
I was interested, though, that you stop stating people's names at 1882, so missing out on a specific mention of Sibelius, Gallen-Kalella, Mannerheim, Aalto, Kekkonen and any number of rally-drivers, to name but a few.
I don't necessarily disagree with letting the country speak for itself (it's an eloquent country). I was just intrigued, that's all.

Ok, I see you point, reason for this lack of names is that I really wrote Main events in Finland's history, names you mentioned are important for Finland and it's culture, but act over longer period and are not connected to any single event. All of them are "large" enough for solo entry, excluding Aalto who is most overrated architect in world.
