Having studied and practiced this module, in the case of team intervention, you will be able:

  • To lift and place a victim on appropriate lifting equipment.
  • To maintain the position the victim has been placed in, as a prerequisite and function of their state, at the time of lifting.
  • To practice the upholding of the head-neck-trunk without causing traction.
When? ~ After having given care.
How? ~ In taking stock of: - the state of the victim; - the victims position; - the number of rescuers available
Why? ~ To place the victim on the carrying material adapted to their state and situation.
