I work for Her Maj's Prison Service, though not at Pentonville. I have to stick up for poor old Pentonville and say that they are doing great work to kick the place into touch. They currently serve as a local prison meaning that they take in chaps recently sentenced from the London area in conjunction with Wandsworth and Wormwood Scrubs prisons. It actually offers quite a lot of courses in the way of helping the inmates work towards their sentence plan to reduce their risk to the public. As a local it then ships guys to Cat B training prisons to work further and more in depth.
And thats my two cents worth!
