I've just been researching the Independent State of Samoa for my uni course.
Not that much incentive was needed for me to visit Polynesia (see my 'Island of Dreams', if you can find it
) but I definitely want to go to Samoa now.

I'm glad you enjoyed the entry. Samoa is a fabulous place 
Go there if you get the slightest chance! I met a couple of students when I was there, both studying anthropology and heading off to stay in villages to get to know the local culture better.

it is the most amazing place ever you would never wanna come
back from Upolu..
I am a true samoan born in the states but went back in 2004]
I was probably about 15 I came back in 2007
you would love it there I promise.
