Wacky pedantry

Ormondroyd

A superb Entry, which brings back many fond memories. But since you're claiming to "solve any arguments" in the Wacky Races section, I feel compelled to point out that Penelope Pitstop's car was called The Compact Pussycat, and the caveman drivers of the Bouldermobile were known, somewhat rudely, as the Slag Brothers (though come to think of it, "Stag" would also have had raunchy overtones). I say the above with some confidence having recently grabbed the opportunity to watch and enjoy some WR repeats.
BTW, I've also recently seen a brazen rip-off of WR - "Yogi's Space Race", which is essentially Wacky Races with spaceships and with two old Hanna-Barbara characters, Yogi Bear and Huckleberry Hound. The villians, The Phantom Fink and Sludge, are blatant Dastardly and Muttley clones.
Oh, and I think the airborne WR spin-off, in which D&M and their Vulture Squadron took on Yankee Doodle Pigeon, was actually called "Dastardly And Muttley In Their Flying Machines" - though everyone thinks of it as "Stop The Pigeon" because of the unforgettable theme song dramatically delivered by Dastardly! smiley - fish

Lord Voldemort

In an attempt to FINALLY remove any doubt, here is the definitive list of all the cars, their drivers AND their race numbers (as obtained from Cartoon Network's own reference pages at www.cartoonnetwork.com/doc/wackyraces)

00 - Mean Machine - Dick Dastardly & Muttley
1 - Bouldermobile - The Slag Brothers (Rock & Gravel)
2 - Creepy Coupe - The Gruesome Twosome
3 - Convert-A-Car - Professor Pat Pending
4 - Crimson Haybailer - The Red Max
5 - Compact Pussycat - Penelope Pitstop
6 - Army Surplus Special - Sergeant Blast & Private Meekly
7 - Roaring Plenty - The Ant Hill Mob (Danny, Ring-A-Ding, Kurby, Rug-Bug Benny, Mac, Clyde & Willy)
8 - Arkansas Chugga-Bug - Lazy Luke & Blubber
9 - Varoom Roadster - Peter Perfect
10 - Buzz Wagon - Ruffus Ruffcut & Saw Tooth

Like many people, I was sure that the Ant Hill Mob's car was caled the Bulletproof Bomb, and that Peter Perfect's was called the Turbo Terrific, but the evidence is on the website to prove otherwise!
