I'd have to argue that Scooby Doo beat Captain Caveman at the mystery genre. Cavie just kept getting into far too much trouble for my liking. And what kind of catchphrase is "Zowie!" anyways? "Jenkies" is much better!

I agree with you that scooby doo is much better than caveman, but the new episodes are awful. bring back the old ones with the audience laughing in the back ground.
