Surely "Colonel Bogey's March" (heard in "Bridge Over the River Kwai")
must be high on the list of whistling tunes. There are also a few show tunes that are *about* whistling, such "Whistle a happy tune,"
or "Whistle while you work."

But seriously, when it comes to whistling, birds got there first. Would we even have *thought* of whistling if we hadn't heard birds do it?

There is no better whistle tune than 'Always Look on the bright side of Life". No contest.

How come no one has mentioned the theme song to the Andy Griffth show? No one can go more than three notes into it before some one else joins them.

I hadn't thought of that one, but it's a great adition to the list.
