How these things date us...

Grand writing!
Coming over all wistful, I remember my older brother saying the object of desire was first Aimee McDonald on "At last the 1948 show", followed by Carol Cleveland on Python. Which dates him to 1966-74.
For me, it was the proto-Rocos on Spike Milligan's Q8, Julia Breck, who was decorative in lingerie for much the same reasons. Which dates my adolescence to the middle-late 1970's.
And for those who grew up with Everett, Cleo... early 1980's?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
