Recently, off the coast of Africa or Asia or some other location where there seems to be a lot of fossils hiding, scientists uncovered remains of a fully grown, female humanoid that's only about three feet tall, which actually has been nicknamed "the Hobbit." I don't remember much about the article other then that, however.
