The Millennium Dome in London is just a big marquee, it should have been so much more.
Designs from St. Pauls to gothic mansions,

Yes, we all thought it was pretty ridiculous at the time. I supose they are now using it for something useful and worthwhile: X-Factor auditions.

I think I read a magazine article somewhere that the old quarry where the Eden Project is built was used as the "Magrathea" planet in the H2G2 T.V series
I should have researched that comment first. You probably already know it, or it's completly wrong.

I didn't know that, but it sounds about right to me. There's something other-worldly about St Austell and it's china clay workings.
