I felt sorry for it

I was born in Worcester, and so felt sorry for Redditch, when I saw it on the "5 most neglected" list.

I live in Redditch (wrote the article, actually) and I feel sorry for MYSELF on a regular basis. Having said that, there are worse places to live, and at least I have a decent TESCO within easy reach. Thinking about it, I can't think of anywhere I'd rather move to, at the moment!

I always feel sorry for the "five most neglected", but have noticed that often they're _so_ neglected that nobody checks the posts to those pages anymore... so I had almost made up my mind to stop posting new discussions to them.

It's STILL on the most neglected list (like Redditch itself, really), so keep posting. Preferably witty and humourous, but if all else fails criticise Redditch, England, Europe, my writing style .... Sarcasm and irony must only be used as last resorts!

sounds like an... interesting little town, but really, what is there yo be witty about? How does it feel, to actually get an article accepted, and then for it to fall onto the most negleccted? Do you feel strangely proud, or depressed?

It's funny, my article is not in the most neglected, yet it has less postings than this one.

I think that it has something to do with the amount of time a page has been up... I'm not sure...

I don't think this page is on the 'most neglected' list any more (at least, it wasn't the last time I looked), probably because of the number of postings it has had in the last few days.

I was quite pleased to get my article accepted, especially as it hasn't been tinkered with the way I understand that some articles have been. (Why do they do this by the way?) As for it being on the 'most neglected' list, it doesn't really surprise me although I am a little disappointed. There isn't much you can say about Redditch - look at how short the article is - and if you don't live here or anywhere near here, there's not much you would want to say.
So I guess I'll just have to be satisfied with getting an article accepted and try to work on another article - preferably a bit longer and with more universal appeal!
