Space Ghost

You forgot the famous one:

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck
if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
As much wood as a woodchuck could chuck
if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

(I believe the woodchuck is the same as a groundhog.)

Also, the famous one:

She sells seashells by the sea shore.

This one is also fun:

Butter makes the batter better,
but bitter butter makes the batter bitter.

Somebody got more for the list?

Isnt that only half of it? I remember learning it as example of german word order:

Fischers Fritz fischt frischer fische,
frischer fische fischt Fischers Fritz.

ANother nice one in english:

A maid with a duster
Made a furious bluster,
Whilst dusting a bust in the hall.
When the bust it was dusted,
The bust it was busted,
The bust it was dust, thats all.

Not sure how it conforms to "true" tongue twister speedy repetition thing, but it is definitely hard to say smiley - erm.

you are absolutely correct... my wife just smacked me (virtually)
for forgetting the second line to Fischers Fritz... however even now my minions are searching for even more obscure tingue twosters.

Anybody know any Australian ones?

How about a page for anagrams:
"No Sir, away, a papaya war is on !

or a page for expressions for loonies:
" you know, his driveway doesn't go all the way to the road".
or
" he's a few sandwiches short of a picnic"

with regards...alec

How about a page for palindromes:
"No Sir, away, a papaya war is on !

or a page for expressions for loonies:
" you know, his driveway doesn't go all the way to the road".
or
" he's a few sandwiches short of a picnic"

well not to worry, cos palindromes get a better mention than anagrams at guide entry I mentioned smiley - biggrin

Serves me right for totally failing to think about the example you gave, which is a much more obvious palindrome than anagram smiley - smiley
