A good article about an extraordinary man.
While some members of the Magic Band may have benefitted from psychedelic enhancements, Beefheart maintains that he never took LSD. He says (and I paraphrase): "Nobody had to turn me on - I was born on."
My favourite quote is:
"Everybody's colored or else you wouldn't be able to see them."
