Singalonga Sound Of Music

One of the best experiences to be had in the West End is the "Singalonga Sound Of Music", now a regular occurrence on every Friday night at the Prince Charles.
The Sound of Music, one of Rodgers and Hammerstein's greatest musicals, was always pretty camp even with the presence of Nazi politics. When the words are running along the bottom of the screen and the whole audience is belting out the classics, though, it goes to another plane of unreality altogether.
It's hilarious. It's raucous. And you'll be hoarse by the end (it doesn't matter if you haven't got a great singing voice -- at least half the audience will be worse than you are!). It's hysterical fun.

Sounds nifty!
By the way... If you edit your homepage (doesn't have to be fancy.. Even just a plaintext "Hi... I'm here and looking around" in the -body- of the page) we can all greet you properly!
Meanwhile... Hi! And welcome to H2G2!
