Throwing names and faeces

Primates tend to throw their feces at other primates in the social group as an ultimate insult. With humans (primates also, no matter what anyone says), this behaviour is still apparent with verbal insults, e.g. "Doo-doo Head" for preschoolers, "Sh*thead" for everyone else.
Koko, the gorilla taught to communicate using sign-language, would also use the signs for "you-dirty-bad-toilet" to express disapproval with someone (she had been taught the individual signs, but came up with the combination herself).
