The cheque for £110 that I won on the Compass FM "Mystery Voice" competition finally arrived and I collected my mother on Monday 5th Feb, took her down to the Hospice to present the cheque. I took two photos of the Hospice, the front door and the conservatory which had a lovely flowering cherry tree in full bloom. The staff took our photo with the fundraising manager Yvonne Wright and the photo was in "Reader's Round-up" in the Grimsby Telegraph on Friday 10 Feb.

Yvonne Wright sent me a big colourful glossy pic of us, which my Mum has framed as well as a letter of thanks

I signed up with the Hospice Lottery when I was visiting Dad. I've got a cheque this morning for £1000 so I'm going to donate £500 back to the Hospice.

I forgot about the £100 I donated at Christmas in lieu of buying my siblings Christmas presents.
I was selling memory gift tags for Grimsby Town centre's Christmas tree, in December, I have no idea how much was raised, or how many volunteers were covering the two-hour shifts. I'm looking forward to doing that again this year
