A Conversation for Microwave Ovens
Turntable danger
Mat Started conversation Dec 12, 2008
Something to remember with microwaves is to keep the glass turntable clean. Those tiny bits of excess food might not look too bad but they can continue to cook every time you use the oven. The resultant effect is to create a hotspot in that exact place and it has been known for turntables to shatter due to the difference in temperature between that bit and the rest of the glass.
