A Conversation for Pantomime
The song before the walkdown

Last year we did "There's an elephant in my attic" You don't know it either, do you? So this year we did "Munumumun"with one half of the house interspersing the"Dodododo"bits. We always get rid of our sweets in the first half - usually a job for the Buttons-type character to get the kids on his side and greet himn with his catch phrase on every appearance. Last year they were thrown with the opening line of the evening.
I have just finished a sell out run as the character from the wrong panto again. I also did a spectactularly incompetent ghost, as I was unable to see out of my costume.
The dame (who is traditionally able to scare off anything behind him/her) comforted the little kids by saying. "Nobody could be frightened of that - it's only the fairy with a spider on her head"
Congratulations on getting this excellent article on the front page in time to remind everyone to support their local theatre this Christmas

Thanks for that Wand'rin Star, I'm afraid I've never heard of either of those songs
A couple of years ago we did a really successful - My Bonny Lies Over The Ocean - It was hilarious, the audience had to jump up out of their seats every time there was a 'B' sound, so you can imagine.
It seems quite easy in the beginning - but then ........ So bring back my Bonny to me Bring back, oh bring back, oh bring back my Bonny to me...
