A Conversation for Hugh Laurie - Actor and Comedian
House, Friendless?

I loved this entry but I think you are being a bit unkind when you say House is friendless. A significant part of the storyline is given to his idiosyncratic relationship with his best friend, Dr James Wilson, played by Robert Sean Leonard. They clearly have a long history together and even share a flat for a while and criticise each other's love lives. Part of the attraction of House is that he can be, apparently, totally unfeeling towards people but there are some people who can get inside his armour.

House and Dr Wilson are based on Holmes and Dr Watson.

There's talk of having a Mycroft, too isn't there. Sherlock Homes's older, cleverer brother - to be played by Stephen Fry.
