Having gained confidence with the general purpose skateboarding skills:
1. Standing
2. Steering
3. Pushing
4. Stopping
You can progress to:
1. Flipping the skateboard up into your hand to prevent you from bending over to pick it up.
2. Save time and gain street credability points by 'Ollie'ing up pavements.
a. Stand towards the back of the skateboard with your weight as far back as it will go without you falling off.
b. Bend and flex your knees in preperation.
c. Kick the back of the board down.
d. A fraction of a second after this jump. (You need to remember this part to gain height)
e. Lift both feet up.
f. Allow your body to fall whilst leading with your front foot(I have been advised to roll it forward, thus lowering the skateboard mid-flight)
f. Land with a flex of the knees and dampen.
Practise and a no fear attitude are crucial to your progression
