A Conversation for Dross Pots

I seem to have dross pots all over my room...as well as dross drawers, dross shelves, dross anything else you can think of. The thing is, any place at all where I put important or interesting stuff just gets more and more cluttered over time until it winds up as just another dross spot...and I end up finding a new location to stick all the important stuff in. This process has repeated itself so many times it's scary, but I can never seem to find a way out of it. Does anyone have any ideas, or is this one of the inevitabilities of life?
