Mansun is about as harcore as my great gran. The both dye their hair ridiculous colours, wear too much eye make-up, wander around spouting rubbish about being hard-done by and talking about death whilst most people whince at their dubious outlook on life.

Also Portishead, Massive Attack, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Mos Def and of course... the man like Michael Jackson!

But you have to admit that U2 deserves to get to number 1 more than comercialised and merchandised bitchy shit like westlife.( but they probably work very hard).
And as for your taste i have to admit that it is very cool.

the club i go to has cameras at the top of the podiums which gets shown on a tuesday night. so ive probably been seen in my best drunken shots. The people there all go mental on the floor. (im telling you gay people can really dance!) Go to the "Kremlin" if you dont believe me!!!!!!

I'm sure U2 and Westlife would both be perfectley happy with their chart positions and with each others.

Neither, I'm going back to Leeds (used to be at uni there) to go to Basics. Should be quality.

I've only been to Cream a few times but yes, it does have nasty doormen. Actually, the worst is the door manager who is female and is seriously scary. Not sure about the early closing but there's certainly a lot of drugs - wouldn't call it a 'problem' though, some might but it's inevitable these days wherever you go and has always been a good laugh whenever I've indulged

Pop is crap. I used to like it but now I've really gone off it; Good Charlotte (these guys ain't pop), Green Day and Iron Maiden to name but a few I like.

Good Charlotte are as pop as they come. Them and Green Day were basically prototypes of Busted, and at least with Busted there's no pretense of being anything but pre-teen pop music...

Both bands simply come under the pop umbrella in my book. Mind you, even most 'proper' punk is a scam anyway...
