What do you do if the right side of the bed has a wall against it?

try pushing the bed away from the wall (while still in it of course) the get out. If you find yourself trapped between the bed and the wall, crawl under the bed. If this is impossible just accept that it is your fate to have a bad day.

It might be worth trying either side of the bed for a week or so before you push it against the wall. Then you'll have an idea of which is right. Of course, this is subject to change, and a succession of bad days might be a clue to side-switch.

How does it work if you share a bed? Do I have to climb over him to make sure we both get out of bed on the right side?

Very simple solution. Sleep with your head facing the foot of the bed instead of the head of the bed, and left and right will be reversed.

The more appropriate question is: right side when standing facing it or when lying upon it?
