...according to the official census returns for 2001.
260,000 people self-identified as "Jewish" on the 2001 census, but their numbers were dwarfed by the more than 390,000 who put "Jedi".
And *still* we don't get our own slot on "Thought for the Day"

however less reported was the fact that the government refused to recognise it as a religion, and labeled it a fad (and thus not counting as a religion for various legal purposes).
