A Conversation for 'Star Wars' - the Films

Bond, James Bond

I thought I'd point out that Episode IV was not "redubbed" A New Hope, it's always been called Star Wars: A New Hope, but people usually didn't use it until Episode One was released cause now they can't say "The first one." Thought I'd put it my two cents.

Actually, the "Episode IV" bit wasn't added until the last theater release before Empire Strikes Back came out- back in the days when if you wanted to see a film again you couldn't go out and buy the video- you had to wait for another cinema release...

I think "A New Hope" was there from the first release though.

Jed the Humanoid -Keeper of things lost down the back of the sofa-also the Chief Mad Drunken Warrior of the Anti Squirrel League

i'm not sure about that...I remember seeing the Episode Four on the old video releases (i was too young to see the original ones in the theatre first time round) and wondering where the hell episodes one, two and three were..
Oh..and has anyone had a look at the plot summaries that are slowly being leaked about episodes two and three....how close they are to the truth is yet to be seen, obviously...but they sound incredible...
I mean..without spoiling it for anybody...there are scenes from the clone wars where you have hundreds of Jedi's battling hundreds of Boba Fett's dad's (or maybe mum's)(Janga Fett) clones (presumably not in the right armour though..as if i remember rightly the armour was that used by another race..possibly the Mandalorians). And scenes where ten Jedi and Sith have a massive battle....and among those Jedi are Yoda, Mace Windu and other assorted hard characters (and the Sith include a recently turned Darth Vader and a cloned Darth Maul)...i mean.....Yoda fights Anakin/Vader at one point....how cool is that gonna be..anyway...back to pretending that i have a life smiley - winkeye
