Dalmarnock

I am reminded that whilst Dalmarnock is now in a "post industrial" state, it used to be a power house simply due to the massive coal fired electricity station located on the riverside section of the area. As a schoolboy I can remember being taken on a tour of this engineering marvel, which probably did nothing for the health of the once considerable population of this area. However, the problems noted with the current locals may soon be a thing of the past since the area is now fast becoming "post residential" as well. So perhaps if Celtic get a good run in Europe this season, they could take the area over for one giant car park.
