A Conversation for Rimonabant - The Discredited Anti-obesity Drug

I was prescribed Rimonabant 14 days ago & given a target of 4lbs to lose to continue the program.
I have lost 12lbs & the feeling is good - my insulin dose has already been decreased by 10%.
I feel completely different - my cravings for food have gone apart from very late evening & have been advised to take the tablet a couple of hours later to combat this.
I do not know how long the effects will last but while they do a grape or two between meals replaces crisps & biscuits.
I did feel quite different for the first two days but I think this was partly due to my insulin levels

Glad to know it's working out for you. Clinical trials are one thing, but it's always nice to hear that it works in 'real life' as well

It is now mid May & I continue to use the drug I have now lost nearly 3 stones & still have a long way to go but my insulin dose is now halved, my tablets are down to 50% & this week when I go for my review I expect to be able to reduce my blood pressure tablet dosage or even stop them altogether
