First of all the "hole" of which you speak is actually just one side of the Niagra Escarpment which runs farther than just hamilton, and also mountain dwellers look may DOWN their noses at us lower folks but with the possible execption of Westdale Village we are invariably tougher AND cooler. And we have more bars.

Yeah... but only the folks in Hamilton call it a "mountain".
As for bars, no one in their right mind would go up the "mountain" for a drink. Everybody knows the best watering holes are within spitting distance of a steel plant or a harbour... or both.
