Hello. What a curious invitation. Welland is a nice place, but I wonder if it is worth giving up a life of sin for.

who said anything about giving up sin? that would be hell you're thinking of. it's nice to have some Canadians to talk to for a change. especially one in my own time zone. there's such a lapse talking to people across the world. it's very interesting though. how long have you been here? i enjoyed your forum.@

Is this the Hamilton right next to Kitchener and Caimbridge? If so I don't remeber the water being that close... But it's been a long time since I went home. It's nice to see home made it here. Thanks

That's the one. The water's too far away to jump into from the Mountain... or even throw a frisbee; but it's close enough to call a part of the local landscape. I'm only guessing, but I'd say the distance between the Mountain and the lakeshore never exceeds five miles... probably less.
It's certainly close if you consider Kitchener and Cambridge to be right next to Hamilton. I walked to Hamilton from Brantford a couple of years ago, and it nearly crippled me. Mind you, I was wearing indoor soccer shoes at the time.
