She has been removed for a year at least to look after her husband who I believe has cancer. looks like my voodoo doll of her worked to some extent then.

It's so reassuring to know that so many of my fellow researchers share my distaste for CD. It helps me know I've found a place where I can start to fit in!
But there are other musicians/music which I don't have a taste for. So why is it that when CD comes on the radio, she is the only one that I simply cannot bear to listen to, and feel compelled to switch it off? What is it about her 'music' that really touches me...
...in the pit of my stomach?!

Do you mean you love sarcasm or irony.
According to my school's English Lit. teacher, Sarcasm is bitter and done with the intention to hurt. Irony is saying something which should be obvious (to most) to be false for the sake of humour. Ironic is when an event has a sense of Irony. Unfortunately Ms. Dion does not understand this.

Sarcasm is certainly not the lowest form of wit...you just have to understand irony and humour to be able to fully appreciate it!
