Ringo:
"They told me in this job I'd see the world. So far I've seen a room, a car, a train, another car and another room."

Isn't that what Paul's grandfather said, when he called them all a bunch of sissies?
Mine's the bit when George and Ringo are in the corridor of the train, and a posh attractive woman tries to beckon Ringo into her compartment.
George: Well, are you going to?
Ringo: Nah, she'll only reject me in the end and then I'll be frustrated. I know the psychological pattern, it plays havoc with me drumskins.

One of the best movies ever, IMHO. And Ringo gets way too little credit as the drummer (did he work out those patterns himself?), or as the Marx Bros. level (meaning way up there) comedian:
Man on train: Don't take that tone with me young man. I fought the war for your sort.
Ringo: I bet you're sorry you won.
That actually sounds like a John line, but John had plenty of other gems:
Reporter: How did you find America?
John: Turned left at Greenland.
(Yes, all from IMDB ...)

Norm: Where's Paul's grandfather?
Shake: He's just gone to the, err...
Norm: Well, if he's gone to the err we'd better give him a couple of minutes then.
(from the day I first saw the film, I started referring to the bathroom as the err)
Key: Complain about this post
