A Conversation for Sir Ian McKellen - Actor
I've been on stage with him

Some years ago when all AIDS charities were raising money to get services off the ground Sir Ian did a one man show in the West End donating all of the money to the groups. One of the groups I was supporting was going to get some money.
He did a brilliant show but the highlight of the evening was when he asked volunteers to go up on stage with him. We had to huddle and he told us that on a given signal we were to all die and lie about like dead bodies. It was to do with the long list of Agincourt dead which actors often forgot and substituded names of well known French wines.
I died on stage with him. It was great!

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
