Vodka (especially in Russia) has nothing to do with tomatoes!!! I drink it here all my life and I know what I say. Although an alcoholic drink, they say, can be produced of virtually anything, even tomatoes

That's not correct. Actually it's a perversion to drink it over ice. Russians who invented it drink the way it's done with tequila.

That's right! A friend of mine once drunk a 0.5 litre bottle of vodka in 36 seconds. Felt very bad next morning.
