Springfield's roads
Researcher 91408 Started conversation Sep 23, 1999
Two things about the roads in Springfield: Not one of them
goes in a straight line for over a block. They all constantly
curve, bend, shift to one side or change width. And most busy intersections
are now equipped with video surveilance cameras. Supposed to be for
"traffic control" but also very handy to see who is riding around with whom,
what they're doing and where they're from according to their license plates.
None of the cameras appears to be focused on an intersection itself just in
case it would be useful in an accident investigation.
