Salou,based in Costa Dorada,Spain....
It is a freindly area of Spain to visit as most of the locals are pleasantly polite etc.
Theres a huge theme park called "Portaventura",which is
strongly recomended a visit as there is plenty to do for all the family.Its based on the area's , wild west,mexico,china,polenesia,mediteranean etc,so u get a taste of all parts of the globe !!
If you have a young family there's a bar in Salou which CAN be recomended,its called "JUGGLERS",its got about 3-4 hours of of entertainment for all the the family,the kids get entertained by a clown,theres a quiz,& the 1 thing that really gets yer strugglinng is the modelling balloons they ask you to blow up,phew,do they blow yer head off !!!...but if you can blow em up,its all good fun !!
2 resteraunts which can be recommended is "the orient express" & "moby dick",both great service & very good food !!
Of course theres plenty of other places to eat,infact,you will take an age to get round them all !!
Transport,ie taxi's n buses are cheap,so another place to be recommended is the fishing port of "Camberills",which has a unique atmosphere,wether its just a visit or a specific reason,which is mainly to sample the sea food the reseraunts cook,its a another part of the Costa Dorada well worth a visit !!
Quite close by is another coastal area of interest,Taragona,it maybe to far to walk as many visitors to the area go in summer,which can be a tiring day trip ???...Plenty of water is advised if deciding to do the latter..
Another place only a short bus ride away is the popular city of "Barcelona"...In the resort of Salou theres plenty of excursion kisoks where these sort of trips can be booked,and is well worth a
visit !!
As in many resorts abrooad theres a huge selection of night clubs,many run until the early ealry hours so it may keep folk awake at night...
Theres a vast range of shops where small gifts etc can be purchased,some of which cost only a few euro's & are easily affordable...
The road network to & from the airport has been renewed & is only a 15-20 minute journey,so on the transfer it wont be long before your enjoying the great resorts in "Costa Dorada"....
