The Writer's Journey
Let's see where shall I go today?
Perhaps to a house on a haunted hill,
To try and keep the ghosts at bay,
Where the spirits will not keep still.
Perhaps to an magical land,
With witches and wizards,
Princesses who need a helping hand,
And curses that cause blizzards.
Or maybe to the scene of crime,
To try and catch a Murderer,
Before we run out of time.
The thought of blood makes me shiver.
Or maybe into the past,
In a machine that goes time travelling
Wouldn't that be a blast?
Just don't change anything.
I must go into my rooms
With my pen and my paper,
I have to, the deadline looms,
Maybe I'll start writing later.
